Leslie Buerschaper
I am a self-taught artist and have been sculpting for about 30 years. My objective is to produce sculpture that evokes emotion and spurs creativity in others. I work from my homebased studio where I am blessed to combine my work life with that of raising my daughter and working in the garden. My inspiration comes from these things and from the love and support I receive from my family and friends. I work in a variety of mediums depending on the intended placement of the piece: often starting in clay and then casting in concrete or resin. I have recently discovered a newfound love for polymer clay for creating one of a kind pieces. I am also a member of the Sculptor’s Society of BC: ssbc.ca. I am excited to be working with On the Patio.
